EGCF is a charitable, tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) organization. Established in 2005, the foundation advances its mission by seeking sustainable partnerships with those non-profits and NGO's it feels can demonstrate measurable success. EGCF looks to support organizations that have a high standard of internal ethics and project monitoring. We consider project partnerships ONLY with 501(c)(3) U.S. based organizations working in the U.S and internationally. We are interested in supporting innovative education and literacy programs, which offer the most viable solutions to the systemic issues of poverty concerning children. We seek collaborative, long-term relationships with our grantees. At this time we consider primarily project support grants.
EGCF is committed to monitoring its support to ensure quality in the Foundation's grant-making. As we grow, we will continue to evaluate the Foundation's effectiveness. Through our website, we are committed to communicating the work of our partners and grant recipients in order to build awareness around funding needs as well as to provide an online platform to spotlight the projects.
